"As they passed the rows of houses they saw through the open doors that men were sweeping and dusting and washing dishes, while the women sat around in groups, gossiping and laughing. "What has happened?" the Scarecrow asked a sad-looking man with a bushy beard, who wore an apron and was wheeling a baby-carriage along the sidewalk. "Why, we've had a revolution, your Majesty -- as you ought to know very well," replied the man; "and since you went away the women have been running things to suit themselves. I'm glad you have decided to come back and restore order, for doing housework and minding the children is wearing out the strength of every man in the Emerald City." "Hm!" said the Scarecrow, thoughtfully. "If it is such hard work as you say, how did the women manage it so easily?" "I really do not know," replied the man, with a deep sigh. "Perhaps the women are made of cast-iron.""

Bohemuppetian Rhapsody

The Muppets cover Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." So glad to see my all-time favorite Muppet, Lew Zealand.

Beaker Rulz . . .

I saw this a couple of days ago. I like how they cover all the morbid aspects of the song with Animal just being animal.

Classic Kermit at the end.

Quaid, I didn't know what you meant, til I watched it.

Yeah, I too liked how they made it more kid friendly. We lost "Momma, I just killed a man, pulled the trigger til he's dead" and so on. And we lost "Beelzebub's gotta devil put aside for me".

Nevermind that the rest of the song's lyrics like "got to get right out of here" don't make sense without those. :-)

I think they should have done a total parody and changed all the lyrics not some of them, and made it about something.

Loved the ending with Kermit though. Hilarious.

I discovered this while I was at the library, of all places. I almost exploded trying to keep from giggling too loud. EPIC.
