I believe Bird's lovely wife Brandi gave birth to their 4th child this morning, a little girl named Evangeline. (Named for the gospel! Love it.)
The number of little Thinklings grows!

Bird and Brandi! Awesome!
I've done some calculations - I think this is correct: this brings the total number of second-gen Thinklings to NINETEEN (Blo's five, Shrode's four, Bird's four, our four, and Jared's two)
Did I miss any?
My lovely daughter is named Evangeline. A wonderful name. Some of her friends have tried to shorten it (Vanny, Van, Vangie) but they always come back to Evangeline.
Welcome, Evangeline. This world needs Good News!
All Jared has to do is have one more baby, then we'll have an even 20.
J/K dude.
As for a nickname for Evangeline, I'm thinking "Lilly". It just came to mind. don't know if it's because of LOST or not. I just thought it was a good nickname for Evangeline.
You know not all nicknames are short forms of the original names. Some are more of a mutation.(Jack for John, Flip for Phillip, Ted for Edward. etc...)
Just wait and see what her older siblings come up with. Sometimes a sibling who can't quite say the name comes up with the coolest nickname. (I could see "Eva" or "Angel" coming out quite naturally.)
My vote is for "Lilly". But then again, maybe, just maybe, her parents named her "Evangeline" because they actually intended for people to call her that? I know I'm going out on a limb to say that, but, just maybe, that's a possibility. ;-)
Thanks, y'all. She was born at 8:20 a.m. yesterday morning. Her name is Evangeline Grace. When we want to shorten the name, we'll call her Eve. :-)
When we want to shorten the name, we'll call her Eve
I wasn't going to comment, but now that Bird has spoken, I will.
I was pretty baffled when everyone was scratching their head wondering how to shorten "Evangeline". "Van"? "Gel"? "Lina"? "Lilly"?
Helloooo, everyone. As Bird has said, it's Eve, of course :-)

That's great news!

Congrats!
Welcome, Evangeline.
