Driving around town this afternoon, I was punching every button on my car radio's presets and simply not liking anything I was hearing. I decided to tune my radio to the classic rock station (I don't have it preset), and as I was tuning, I specifically thought, "Man, I hope AC/DC's 'Back in Black' is on."
Guess what was on when I tuned in.
Yep.

I got 2 in a row once - Feeling that Way/Anytime by Journey, followed by Roll with the Changes by REO......then, on the 3rd one, I was thinking Sweet Child of Mine by G&R, but just missed and got Paradise City........all in all not bad.....it was when I was driving through Charlotte a while back and came across a good classic rock station.
OK, same sort of story in reverse:
My husband and I were at a yard-sale, and I picked up a Fleetwood Mac "Greatest Hits" CD and I bought it, telling my hub, " I don't love, love Fleetwood Mac, but I love "Landslide" and don't own it, and for that song alone it would be worth owning this CD ." As we're driving away, I check out the song list, and all the hits are there, EXCEPT, you guessed it, "Landslide". I go, "Dang! I'm stuck with this! Why would they ever make a FM Greatest Hits and leave out Landslide?" At that moment, I lean over, angrily turn on the radio, and what song is on? Yes, "Landslide". It was as if everything in the universe was mocking me.

I had a theology professor at Baylor who actually told us that we could make things happen with our minds, and that when our minds coincided with God's mind on a matter, that's when "prayers were answered."
He cited Heisenberg's uncertainty principle as evidence that we could make things happen just by thinking about them.
Man, all this time, I thought he was wrong. I guess he was just vindicated. Sorry, professor. I never should have doubted you.
