The master of modern magicians, David Copperfield, is bringing his road show, "An Intimate Evening Of Grand Illusion," to Waco, Texas tonight. Supposedly he's going to do things like make 13 members of the audience vanish and then reappear. Oh, pick me! Pick me! Pick me!
As an amateur conjurer, I can't express how giddy I am to see Copperfield tonight. I'm counting the seconds ...

Bird,
I actually spent several years in Texas. Left to take a new job. Still not sure that was the right thing to do. I really came to love the place. It's the only place I know in the whole country where you can just assume everything is going to work, but where you don't have to put up with any left coast or northeast attitude.
But, anyway, I passed through Waco several times and stayed there for a day or two. So, yeah, I'm speaking from experience.

Awesome! I was cornered by a street magician at a ball game recently (paid by the facility) and he pulled my watch out of my son's (6 years old) ear! I have no idea how it got there.
It's great entertainment!
