"As they passed the rows of houses they saw through the open doors that men were sweeping and dusting and washing dishes, while the women sat around in groups, gossiping and laughing. "What has happened?" the Scarecrow asked a sad-looking man with a bushy beard, who wore an apron and was wheeling a baby-carriage along the sidewalk. "Why, we've had a revolution, your Majesty -- as you ought to know very well," replied the man; "and since you went away the women have been running things to suit themselves. I'm glad you have decided to come back and restore order, for doing housework and minding the children is wearing out the strength of every man in the Emerald City." "Hm!" said the Scarecrow, thoughtfully. "If it is such hard work as you say, how did the women manage it so easily?" "I really do not know," replied the man, with a deep sigh. "Perhaps the women are made of cast-iron.""

Moot 2007: A Torrid Pictorial

Some pics off of Stroke's camera from the Thinklings December 2007 Ent-Moot . . .

Here's Stroke, straight off the set of a House of Pain video:

"Say hello to my leetle friend":

Bill basks in the joy of simply sitting next to Jared:

Pretending to ponder the endless potential permutations of moves in Bird and Blo's game of chess, Rod really just wanted to pick the board up and smash it on someone's head Hulk-style, so they could go back outside and smoke some more cigars:

Although he looked like he was pondering the endless potential permutations of moves in his and Bird's game of chess, Blo is really just asleep with his eyes open:

A real meeting of the minds:

We did a whole lot more than sit around the chess board, but these are the only pics we got. Enjoy if you can!

I keep asking myself, what would I have been doing if I had been there. Oh, I know.

I would have been asking Bill, "Hey, can we play 'Go Fish'?

Also, didn't Bird smoke Blo in that game?

6. Mark (blo) - 01/17/2008 9:29 pm CST

I'm not sure who won. If Bird won I am pretty sure he didn't "smoke" me. :-)

Didn't Bird "go green" again?

Milly, is your computer showing you the same pictures I am looking at?

I. . .a. . .think so.
I do need new glasses.

"Man you dudes turn a girls head."

Blo, I think the head-turning mentioned here is more like Linda Blair in The Exorcist

And, yes, Bird did very nearly go green. But disaster was ultimately avoided.

Bill
I thought so, on both counts.

Bill, I freed Bird's Sgt. Pepper's CD from my CD changer today. He will finally (eventually) get his gift!
