"Well, crying isn't gonna bring your dog back . . . unless your tears smell like dog food. So you can either sit there crying and eating can after can of dog food until your tears smell enough like dog food to make your dog come back or you can go out there and find your dog."

The Election that Matters

Macy lost the election for president of her 2nd grade class by 4 votes.

She ran on a platform of eradicating pollution, increasing recycling, and helping animals.
Her opponent promised 20 extra minutes of recess.

Panderer.

(Btw, John McCain won the girls' school-wide mock presidential election.)

Sorry that Macy lost those kids are nuts if they think they will get more time on the playground. I like Macy's platform. A friend of mine from college once ran for mayor of Tulsa he wanted the lines painted on the roads again and more cops in the neighborhoods. Macy could have beat him.

Go Macy! Go green!

I'm writing her in when I vote.

What????? How can the other kid promise more recess?!

Tell Macy she'd have my vote for sure. :-)

LOL

Well, to be fair, they had to give their speeches answering the question "If I were President of the U.S., I would . . ."

Macy was thinking if she really were president what would she do.
Her friend knew what would get votes. :-)

that girl can promise "more recess" with the same vaporware and mirrors that Obama uses to promise "better lives" for the middle class.

I told you she should have handed out cupcakes. Or at least promised to hand out cupcakes.;-) She's way ahead of her age on the "issues".
