"Well, crying isn't gonna bring your dog back . . . unless your tears smell like dog food. So you can either sit there crying and eating can after can of dog food until your tears smell enough like dog food to make your dog come back or you can go out there and find your dog."

Wonders Never Cease

After basically giving the game away with an ill-advised turnover with just a few minutes to go, thus allowing the Dolphins to march down the field and score on us, the Houston Texans just completed an improbable drive, capped by a touchdown on a quarterback sneak with three seconds left.

Nicely done, Texans. With that drive, you may have saved both your starting quarterback's job and coach Kubiak's job as well.

We finally got a win! Yes!

Haha. Saw that! Awesome.

My roller coaster Redskins lost to the stupid 0-5 Rams in the last 2 seconds thanks to a 49-yard Rams field goal. Lame.

I was watching the end and trying to figure out how the Texans were going to blow it.

The near-interception was it, but then it was reviewed and reversed.
Blowing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and goal at the two yard line I thought might be it, but then they scored on a run on 4th.
Then I was sure they'd let them run the kickoff back, but Miami just fell on the ball.
Then I thought they'd let Ricky Williams score, but he saw some weed and backward lateraled to almost no one.

Texans win? Huh?

That's not supposed to happen.

........meanwhile, here in Atlanta, the Falcons bring back the memories of the old "Alcoa Presents - Fantastic Finishes" (do you guys remember those little blurbs in the 70's on MNF?).

6 seconds left, ball on our own 35, down by one - Matt Ryan with a hand in his face throws a 30 yard strike on the sideline to the Bear's 31. Time elapsed - 5 seconds....one second left..... 48 yard field - good!

Fun to be a Falcon fan today!
